Tina uses her machete to cut this banana stalk into smaller pieces for the mixing process.	Fiber from the banana stalk adds a nice texture to the finished paper.

These banana stalk pieces will be mixed together with recycled paper.	We tear paper by hand before soaking it in water and later adding it to the banana stalk pieces.
